They say
2 Corinthians 11:4 — you preach another Jesus.
Paul’s ‘another Jesus’ was a rival gospel in Corinth that emptied the cross — not a later vote at Nicea. The Jesus of John 1 and Luke 24 is the Word made flesh, crucified, risen with flesh and bones. That is who we worship. The creeds add a metaphysical essence the Gospels never lecture.
John 1:1, 14
KJV · In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.
NRSVUE · In the beginning was the Word… And the Word became flesh and lived among us.
Luke 24:39
KJV · Handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
NRSVUE · Touch me and see, for a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.
