Bible not enough / extra scripture

They say

Revelation 22 closes the Bible.

John said ‘the prophecy of this book’ — his scroll. Moses said the same in Deuteronomy 4:2, and God still sent Isaiah. 2 Timothy 3:15 is the scriptures Timothy had as a child, not a 66-book table of contents bound in 1647. John 21:25: the world could not contain the books.

They say

A Bible! A Bible! We need no more Bible.

2 Nephi 29 is the Lord’s own answer to that exact shout. He asks why they murmur because He speaks to more than one nation. The Book of Mormon does not replace the Bible. It supports it — which is exactly what Preach My Gospel says to teach.

Article of Faith 9 is the Restoration in one line: He has revealed, He does reveal, He will yet reveal. That is Amos 3:7 still happening. D&C 20: the Book of Mormon proves God still calls and inspires.

Every Christian knows the canon is closed.
