Wrong demand. Witnesses, Old World hits, and a text that behaves like an ancient record. Proof is for math. Convergence is for history.
There’s no archaeology, DNA, or science for the Book of Mormon — only anachronisms. Joseph made it up.
What they say
“Show me one Nephite city. Show me the DNA. Horses, steel, wheat — fake.”
They say
Real scripture has archaeology. Yours doesn’t.
Many Old Testament places also lack a labeled archaeological site. They still preach Exodus as history. John 10:16 is Jesus saying He has other sheep. They change the standard of proof when the book is the Book of Mormon.

They say
DNA killed the Book of Mormon.
The Church’s DNA essay is public: Lehi’s family is not claimed as the principal ancestry of all Native Americans. 1 Nephi 13 already has a mixture in a Gentile land. A small family in a populated continent is what the book itself describes. FAIR’s DNA page is the follow-up.

Do not try to win Mesoamerica in the first lesson. Point them at FAIR’s Book of Mormon hub and Mormonr’s document list after the appointment. In the moment: witnesses never recanted the plates, and the book talks of Christ. That is the missionary close. The library pages are the deep cut.

Nobody ever saw plates.
Three witnesses: an angel laid the plates before their eyes. Eight witnesses: they handled them. None recanted the plates, including those who left the Church. That is in our own canon, in the front of the book.

“The Book of Mormon is convincing evidence of the Restoration. Invite people to read it, pray about it, and keep the commandments so they can gain a testimony.”
